Generally, all of our original tours can be experienced as e-bike tours as well. However, we highly recommend opting for tours labeled with an "ambitious" or "sporty" level of difficulty. In Austria, these options include our popular "Ten Lakes & Sound of Music, sporty" tour and the sporty variations available on the Tauern Cycle Path, Danube Cycle Path, Drau Cycle Path, and our sporty Adige Cycle Path tour from Innsbruck to Lake Garda. Six E-Bike Facts about pedelecs and co.

Interested in understanding the distinctions between e-bikes and pedelecs? We've compiled the six most crucial facts and differences for you, ensuring no questions remain unanswered. With state-of-the-art e-bikes, you'll always experience a gentle "tailwind" on the saddle, making your journey even more effortless.

Key E-Bike Facts, quickly explained:

The electric motor of the pedelec only provides assistance while pedaling. In other words, the motor won't engage unless there's pedaling activity. The significant difference from e-bikes lies in the type of drive. The motor of Eurobike pedelecs is positioned in the middle of the bike and can also be adjusted to meet individual preferences. Depending on the incline, you'll receive varying levels of motor support.

Fitness levels vary among participants on group rides. As you're aware, there are dynamic athletes, many cyclists in the middle ground, and ultimately, a few stragglers. However, with an e-bike, even slower cyclists can maintain pace. This is particularly beneficial for those who may lack experience with week-long cycling or don't feel fully fit, as the e-bike's assistance serves as a suitable complement.

Do you have a family? If you're also looking to transport babies or small children in a bike trailer, an e-bike is ideal. The weight of the child trailer, along with diapers, spare clothes, or food for the little ones, can often be significant, especially on inclines.

Our Eurobike e-bikes offer a range of up to approximately 120 kilometers. This is roughly equivalent to the distance between Linz and Prague or between Munich and Stuttgart. Our rental models are based on KTM bikes, with powerful batteries. The range depends on various factors, such as the amount of driving assistance you want to use during your ride, as well as the ground conditions or the exact route. You can check the battery's charge level on the LCD display at any time. After 120 kilometers, you can replace the reserve battery yourself.

Today, it's uncommon for a renowned bike path to lack an e-bike charging station. Whether it's at the hotel parking lot, restaurant, or directly along the cycle path itself, a charging station is essential nowadays.

If you're planning a group cycling tour, it's important to consider the type of bikes in advance. Mixing conventional bikes and e-bikes within a group could result in significant performance differences and potentially lead to discord within the group.
