Cyclists in Piedmont, Monviso in the background

In Piedmont you can take in nature during your cycling holiday – after all, there’s a reason why this region in the northwest of the country is often referred to as the ‘Italy’s Garden of Eden’. Lush vineyards, fields of vegetables and orchards are examples of the surprising richness that can of course also be found on the plate.

It’s simply wonderful to cycle past the vineyards, orchards and enchanting villages of Piedmont! Take a break? Anytime! Simply choose one of the wonderful places along the cycle path and enjoy the unique views. Torino is the start and end point of this eight-day cycle tour and the first capital of Italy, also known as ‘Little Paris’, You will love this city! You can experience how fascinating Piedmont can be with every turn of the wheel.

  • Culinary delights: Indulgence is at home in Piedmont – there are so many temptations in northern Italy. Taste your way through the wide range of regional delicacies, such as wine, the finest chocolate, truffles and risotto.
  • Mountain views and panoramas: The panoramas ensure great variety on this cycling holiday. For example, you can enjoy the snow-capped peaks of the Alps.
  • City pearls of Piedmont: Stroll along the banks of the Po in Torino, taste the famous white truffles in Alba or a wine tasting in Barolo – and moreover be enchanted by the picturesque cities in Piedmont with their historical charm.

Dedicate yourself to cycling for 8 days – and in Bella Italia! Your cycling adventure begins and ends in enchanting Turin, where you can get your bike and get in the mood for the coming days. Every day you cover between 40 and 65 kilometres, which mainly lead along cycle paths and low-traffic side streets. Except for the last stages between Bra and Alba, the route is mostly flat. Again and again you meet the rivers of the Piedmont and cycle along them. The cycling week ends with a train ride between Chieri and Torino.
