Cyclists at a stop with a view of Untersee, surrounded by meadows and hills

Four countries in eight days? Not only is it possible, but it's also quite relaxed at your destination. Cycle between Lake Constance, Lake Zurich, and Lake Walen in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and the Principality of Liechtenstein. This cycling vacation offers a particularly diverse experience - from the beautiful lakeside promenade in Constance to the vineyards and sophistication of Zurich.

The largest city on Lake Constance boasts not only a rich history but also magnificent panoramic views - take a leisurely walk before hopping on your bike and cycling to Schaffhausen. Along the way to Zurich, you'll encounter the impressive Rhine Falls.

On day 4, the route meanders along the shores of Lake Zurich, revealing hidden yet visually striking villas. After crossing over to Lake Walen, you'll hop on a boat, bringing you closer to the Principality. Following a night in Vaduz, your journey continues through picturesque Swiss Alpine valleys to St. Gallen and finally to Konstanz, where you can cap off your adventure with a glass of wine or a delicious ice cream.

  • Masses of water plunge into the depths: As Europe's largest waterfall, the Rhine Falls never fail to impress with their majestic beauty. Take in the breathtaking natural spectacle from viewing platforms and stroll along picturesque hiking trails. However, for the ultimate experience, hop on a boat! It's an unforgettable adventure for nature lovers, allowing you to truly capture the atmosphere of this spectacular wonder.
  • A visit to the Principality: Liechtenstein, the tiny principality nestled between Switzerland and Austria, dazzles with its breathtaking Alpine scenery, quaint villages, and rich cultural heritage. Explore the iconic Vaduz Castle, embark on hiking trails like the Fürstensteig, and delve into the vibrant art scene within the town's charming galleries.
  • The UNESCO World Heritage Site in St. Gallen: Founded in the 8th century, the former Benedictine monastery boasts one of Europe's most significant baroque libraries alongside an impressive monastery church. Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1983, the St. Gallen monastery stands as a testament to centuries of cultural and architectural excellence.

The leisurely cycle tour is enhanced with train and boat excursions, allowing you to take breaks and relax along the way. Despite the surrounding mountains, the route remains largely flat, gradually becoming hillier towards the end. In addition to various modes of transportation, admission to the Konstanz Rose Garden Museum is also included in the tour price.

The Lake Constance region is perfect for cycling vacations, with magnificent views, sparkling waters, and numerous attractions to explore. The Lake Constance cycle route follows the shoreline seamlessly, offering a hassle-free experience.
