Before your journey home, you have the opportunity to take a ride on the famous Teleférico do Funchal, a cable car that travels from the old town to the mountain village of Monte.

  • Between sugar cane mills and volcanic beaches in Porto da Cruz: The small fishing village is beautifully nestled between the famous Eagle Rock, green forests, and the Atlantic Ocean. In this location, you can savor the sea, experience local cuisine in authentic restaurants, and, if desired, enjoy a cultural program. In addition to sugar mills, you'll find the "Engenhos do Norte" factory, where rum is produced.
