Enjoy a brief respite at the promenade before leaving the coast and venturing into the tranquil countryside. In the authentic village of Estoi, life moves at a leisurely pace. Explore the quaint church and picturesque, typically Portuguese squares where you might encounter the locals. Return along peaceful roads to the bustling coastal area and cycle through the Ria Formosa Nature Park back to Faro.

Today it's time to "pack up" as you change your accommodation and head east to Tavira. Travel through the Ria Formosa Nature Park, keeping an eye on the offshore islands and marveling at the abundant birdlife. In Olhão, stop by the bustling market to observe the locals with their daily shopping or pick up some provisions for your ride. Continue at a relaxed pace to the fishing village of Fuseta, known for its charming white houses. From Cabanas, cycle through the heart of Tavira before heading out of the city along a peaceful country road by the Rio Sequa. Follow the Guadiana River for a stretch before rolling over gentle hills, passing orange and olive groves.
