Pedal along paths that meander by quaint fishing villages and impressive lighthouses. Take a ferry to the enchanting offshore islands like Föhr and Amrum, renowned for their distinct beaches and dunes. On our Eurobike tour, revel in seven days of maritime charm, indulging not only in cycling but also savoring prawn sandwiches and strolling along the shoreline.

Your cycling journey begins in Husum, where visitors are enchanted by its charming colorful houses and bustling harbor. Take some time to explore before embarking on the first leg of the tour, which follows the coastline to Dagebüll. From there, hop on a ferry to the picturesque island of Föhr, where you can unwind for the day in the cozy town of Wyk. You'll have a full day on the island to immerse yourself in the local culture, interact with the friendly residents, or take a leisurely swim in the sea.

Your adventure continues on the neighboring island of Amrum, known for its distinctive architecture, vast heathlands, and, of course, its picturesque dune coastline. On day 5, you'll have the opportunity to explore the marsh island of Hallig Hooge om foot. Returning to Amrum, the ferry will transport you back to Dagebüll. For the final leg of your cycling journey, you'll pedal back to Husum, passing through the charming inland town of Bredstedt along the way.

  • Follow the sea breeze to Husum: Husum, renowned as the birthplace of Theodor Storm, captivates with its historic architecture and unmistakable maritime atmosphere. The city embodies the essence of the North Sea coastline. Explore the Theodor Storm House and make sure to visit the castle. Don't miss the chance to leisurely stroll along the harbor promenade, soaking in the tranquil ambiance.
  • Unwind on the island of Föhr: The North Frisian Island enchants visitors with its picturesque landscapes, charming Frisian villages, and pristine sandy beaches. Make time to visit the Wyker Fährhaus or explore the "Museum of West Coast Art", showcasing artwork with a distinct Nordic influence.
  • The Kniepsand on Amrum: Kniepsand on Amrum boasts an exceptionally broad sandy beach, offering breathtaking vistas of the sea and the North Sea coastline. With its fine, white sand dunes and crystal-clear waters, it provides the perfect setting for sunbathing and unwinding. Nature enthusiasts can also indulge in birdwatching or take leisurely walks along the coast, immersing themselves in the island's natural beauty.

The cycle paths are uniformly flat and excellently maintained, ensuring you can effortlessly navigate the maximum 55-kilometer stages. When packing, keep in mind that the North Sea region can be quite windy at times. Itinerary at a glance

In North Frisia, you'll visit idyllic islands and let the wind blow through your hair on the beach. In Wyk on the island of Föhr, you can stroll along the promenade, and on Amrum, you'll find dunes, heathland, and typical architecture.

Perhaps you have time to visit the Castle of Husum and the historic city centre of the "gray city by the sea," as the poet Theodor Storm called it.

Follow the route through the North Frisian coastal landscape, past Bredstedt, and to Dagebüll. In the afternoon, take the ferry (incl.) to the island of Föhr.

Explore the luscious green island in North Frisia. Once you leave the capital city of Wyk, there is nothing but peace and tranquillity as far as the eye can see.

Enjoy the island of Amrum today. The sandbank is over 1 km / 1.6 mi wide and is one of the most awesome beaches on Germany’s North Sea coast. Frisian houses dot the landscape of meadows, wide dune landscape, Frisian houses, sand dunes, forest, and heath.

Boat trip from Marum to Hallig Hooge without bike (incl., not possible on monday). You will visit Hallig Hooge today with its typical terps and settlement hills which keeps the inhabitants save during floods. There is also the “Friesenstube Königspesel” in which the Danish King Friedrich VI stayed overnight long time ago.

By ferry (incl.) from Amrum to Dagebüll, continue by bike along the dikes to the North Frisian Bredstedt, the geographical centre of North Frisia. Continue to Husum.

Individual Departure and you have  the possibility to extend your trip.
