Discover the rich history of Oranienburg Castle and the fascinating Niederfinow boat lift. As you can see, there's no shortage of excitement along the Havel and Spree.

Whether it's visiting the Babelsberg film studio or Sanssouci Palace, there's plenty to see in Potsdam before you embark on your cycling journey. Initially, you'll board a boat from Potsdam to Sacrow. From there, cycle past Großer Wannsee and Spandau to Oranienburg. Continue through the Schorfheide and along the Oder-Havel Canal to the picturesque Werbellinsee. After a detour to visit the Niederfinow boat lift, head to Oderberg the following day.

On day 5, the route first takes you to the Oderbruch and then along old railroad lines into Märkische Schweiz. After spending the night in Buckow on Schermützelsee, the next picturesque body of water awaits you in the form of Müggelsee. Renowned for its pristine water quality and natural beauty, it is a favored recreational destination for both locals and tourists.

During this cycling tour, you'll traverse various well-maintained cycle paths, offering a mix of terrains. While occasionally hilly, most routes are flat, covering up to 75 kilometers per leg.
