Situated in the Côte Chalonnaise wine region near the town of Chagny, the castle features striking medieval architecture, including impressive towers, defensive walls, and a deep moat, all of which enhance its historical ambiance.
  • Charming Burgundy in the Saône valley: The changing landscapes of dense forests, wetlands, and vineyards are especially appealing, providing a picturesque setting for your vacation. The charming villages and towns along the river, including Gray, Tournus, and Mâcon, enchant with their historic buildings, churches, and vibrant culture.
  • The picturesque old town of Beaune invites you to stroll through its cobbled streets, where you can admire half-timbered houses and enjoy its charming squares. Noteworthy are the fortified town walls and the magnificent Notre-Dame Basilica. Beaune is also known as a center of the wine trade, with numerous wine cellars and esteemed wineries in the region offering tastings and tours.

Cycling along the old railroad line of the “Voie Verte” is a highlight in itself. The individual stages range from 35 to 65 kilometers in length and are easy to handle. Each day, after a hearty breakfast, you'll set off on your two-wheeled adventure and spend the night in charming hotels.

Picturesque paths winding along rivers and canals, as well as through vineyards, are characteristic of a cycling tour in Burgundy. Enchanting towns and charming castle estates will accompany you along your route.
