Pristine nature, crystal-clear waters, dense forests, and picturesque coastlines: The archipelago is home to around 50,000 islands and skerries that stretch from Finland's coast into the Baltic Sea. This rich tapestry of islands, ranging from tiny rocky islets to larger, inhabited havens, creates an enchanting and ever-changing landscape. Over the course of seven days, you’ll embark on a scenic cycling journey, exploring diverse routes and ferrying between islands. Savor the charm and serenity of this extraordinary corner of the world.

Your cycling adventure kicks off in the picturesque city of Turku, with the charming town of Parainen as your next stop. After exploring these vibrant locales, the renowned archipelago unfolds before you like a hidden gem. You'll set off from the island of Nauvo, wind your way through Korppoo, and reach the island of Houtskär, where you’ll cap off the day with a breathtaking panoramic view from the Mossala observation tower. Returning to the mainland, the journey continues as you pedal through the rugged landscapes of Iniö and Taivassalo, before finally arriving in the enchanting town of Naantali.

After days of extensive island hopping, you’ll return to the mainland on day 5. Take in the picturesque beauty of Ruissalo Island before the route guides you back to Turku. On the final leg of your journey, you'll enjoy a scenic loop around the Hirvensalo and Kakskerta peninsulas. Your adventure concludes back in Turku, where you can unwind at your own pace, enriched by the many experiences you’ve gathered along the way.

  • Castle, the historic cathedral, and the charming riverfront promenades along the Aura River. The vibrant market hall offers local delicacies, while the diverse cultural scene, including intriguing museums and festivals, makes Turku a fascinating travel destination.
  • The breathtaking view from Mossala Tower: The tower offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the archipelago. At around 20 meters high, it lets you take in the diverse beauty of the archipelago in all its glory. From the top, you can delight in the sight of the surrounding islands, the shimmering sea, and the enchanting natural splendor of the region.
  • The well-preserved old town of Naantali is a charming tapestry of narrow, winding streets, colorful wooden houses, and a warm, inviting atmosphere. It’s perfect for a leisurely wander, offering a delightful array of cozy cafés, unique boutiques, and inviting restaurants. Naantali is also famed as the summer retreat of the Finnish president. The Kultaranta estate, nestled in a picturesque park, draws many visitors who can enjoy guided tours through its beautiful gardens.

During your cycling tour, you'll cover between 45 and 65 kilometers each day, with mostly flat routes that are easy to navigate. The various ferry rides between islands are included in your travel package.
