The port of Hvar

Island Hopping in Southern Dalmatia, MY Mystic

Trogir, Dubrovnik and the southern Croatian island world

8 Days / 7 Nights
Challenging
The port of Hvar

The scenic Adriatic coast of Croatia, with its enchanting offshore islands, blends cultural highlights and culinary delights on a cycling journey through Southern Dalmatia. Over the course of this eight-day adventure, you'll explore varied routes that wind through coastal landscapes, vineyards, and olive groves, as well as into mountainous terrain offering breathtaking views. The vibrant energy of Dubrovnik and Trogir offers the perfect contrast. Unwind aboard the My Mystic, a comfortable motor yacht that doubles as your floating hotel.

Look forward to days filled with sun, sea, and enjoyment – the perfect mix of activity and relaxation. In Trogir, you’ll board your ship, which will first take you to the island of Brač. Next is the equally picturesque island of Korčula, where your cycling stage begins in the harbor of Račišće. While sailing to the island of Mljet, you can unwind aboard the My Mystic. On day 3, your cycling route starts in Sobra and includes several swimming breaks along the way.

After a visit to the Elaphiti island of Šipan, you'll reach one of the highlights of this journey: Dubrovnik. The following day, the Pelješac Peninsula awaits with stunning viewpoints and charming villages. With Hvar, you’ll be heading to the second-to-last island of the tour, where the picturesque Stari Grad and fragrant lavender fields exude their charm. Via the island of Šolta, you'll return to Trogir, where you'll conclude the adventure with a final seafood platter and a glass of fine wine.

  • Stroll through the old town of Dubrovnik: Surrounded by mighty city walls, the city offers breathtaking views of the Adriatic Sea and is famous for its well-preserved medieval buildings, including the Baroque Church of St. Blasius and the magnificent Rector's Palace. In the Middle Ages, Dubrovnik was a significant trading hub and has retained its charming, historical character to this day.
  • Wine tasting on the Pelješac Peninsula: The region is a fertile wine-growing area where both red and white varieties thrive. Along the route, you'll frequently encounter taverns where you can enjoy stunning views and taste local specialties.
  • Authentic Croatia on one of the largest islands: Brač is especially famous for Zlatni Rat beach in Bol, which is considered one of the most beautiful beaches on the Adriatic and stands out with its distinctive shape that changes with the tides. Traditional stone houses define the landscape – by the way, the white limestone used in the construction of the White House was sourced from here.

The well-developed cycling paths range from flat coastal routes to more challenging tours in the surrounding hills – so a good level of fitness is recommended, and you should keep in mind that summer temperatures can be very hot. Comfort is provided by the My Mystic, featuring a large sun deck with a swimming platform, spacious cabins, and half-board service, ensuring you're pampered by the crew.

Summer, sun, bathing coves, and the sea – all complemented by diverse cycling stages along the coast and islands. Discover more about our bike & boat tours in Southern Europe on our website, where you'll find plenty of useful information about the various destinations.
